Welcome to my website. I have a few interests two of which are growing orchids and bird watching. I am interested in conservation and how things live in the wild.

Orchids

I have been growing orchids since I was 12 when I received my first Dendrobium kingianum. That orchid started a hobby that is still with me.

Bird Watching

As a boy I grew up in Australia and had a concern over Australia's conservation issues and the extremely high extinction rate of its marsupials. I started recording sightings of reptiles and mammals at the age of 11 in 1985. I started recording birds in 1989 and keep these records still. This has now become a global interest and I love seeing a global first.

I dont get posessive about any of the information I have on this site and love sharing it. If you would like to use any of my information or photos please feel free. I believe the internet is like a library and should be available for everyone. Of course I would like it if you referenced my website when using a photo etc.
